Oshnavieh; Salim Sharifi transferred to prison to serve his prison sentence.
According to reports received by the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, on Monday, May 30, 2022, a Kurdish citizen identified as “Salim Sharifi” from the village of “Kurosh Abad” in the Oshnavieh was arrested after being summoned to serve the sentences of the Iranian government. Six prisoners were transferred to an Iranian prison in that city.
It should be noted that this citizen was arrested by the Iranian security forces on February 1, 2021 and transferred to a government prison in Oshnavieh on March 5, 2022 after completing the interrogation process from one of the security detention centers in Urmia.
He was released on March 5 of last year on bail until the end of the trial.
Salim Sharifi was finally sentenced by the Revolutionary Court of the government in Oshnavieh to 2 years and 6 months in prison on charges of membership and cooperation with a Kurdish party, and the sentence was announced on April 16, 2021.
