Mahmoud Salehi and Osman Esmaili were sentenced to prison

On Thursday, May 27, 2021, Two labor activists named, “Mahmoud Salehi” and “Osman Esmaili”, were sentenced to prison by I.R.Iran’s Revolutionary Court in Saqez Due to holding International Workers’ Day.

The Revolutionary Court of Iran sentenced Mahmoud Salehi to 3 months and Osman Esmaili to 6 months in prison. The court further ruled that the sentence issued by these labor activists could be converted into cash penalties and Respectively should pay 20 million and 40 million rials.
It should be noted that Mahmoud Salehi and Osman Esmaili were arrested for publishing photos and videos related to International Workers’ Day. After the interrogation, the case investigator had issued a bail of 40 million Tomans for the temporary release of each of these activists.
