Seyed Mohammad Hosseini was sentenced to heavy imprisonment and exile

On Tuesday, May 25, 2021, “Seyed Mohammad Hosseini” was sentenced to 40 years in prison and deported to the I.R.Iran’s Central Prison in Urmia.

Seyed Mohammad Hosseini, a resident of Naghadeh in eastern Kurdistan, was sentenced by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Iranian Government in Mahabad to 40 years in prison and deported to an Iranian prison in the city of Urmia on charges of “belligerence” through membership in a Kurdish opposition party.
This sentence was issued by the Iranian Government’s Prison Office in Naghadeh and was officially notified to him.
He was tried in May of this year in the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Iran in Mahabad, presided over by Judge “Javad Gholami”.

Seyed Mohammad Hosseini is member of Kurdish opposition party in Iran, and will return to Iran on January 9, 2018, He was arrested by Iranian security and intelligence forces as soon as he arrived and is currently in prison.
