Violent Arrest of a Kamyaran Resident by Intelligence Forces

K.M.M.K

At 5 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, Iranian intelligence forces raided the home of Ramin Mohammadi, a resident of the village of Alek in Kamyaran, and arrested him after a violent search.

Local sources reported that security agents entered his home without a judicial warrant, conducted a full search, and then took him to an unknown location.

As of this report, Ramin Mohammadi’s whereabouts and condition remain unknown, and his family has expressed serious concern for his safety.

The arbitrary arrest of Kurdish citizens without official notification or access to a lawyer has, in recent years, become a worrying pattern in Kurdistan. Human rights organizations have repeatedly called on Iranian authorities to end extrajudicial detentions and to ensure the right to a fair trial and family notification of detainees’ status.
