On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Farshid Mansouri, a 37-year-old married resident of the Abbasabad neighborhood in Sanandaj and father of one, was arrested after being summoned to the Iranian intelligence office in the city and transferred to an unknown location.
Local sources report that Mansouri’s family has received no information about his condition or whereabouts since the arrest. The Sanandaj intelligence office has so far provided no explanation regarding the reasons for his detention or any potential charges.
This arrest comes amid reports of an increase in summonses and detentions of civil activists and Kurdish citizens in various parts of Kurdistan in recent months.
