Continuity of fires in Shahu Mountains forests

This morning 8 August 2017, Shahu forests in the Kamyaran area of eastern Kurdistan were burnt. According to a report from the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, this morning 8 August 2017, Shahu Mountains forests from the Kamyaran city of east Kurdistan were burned in the villages “Kashtar” and “Tangisar”, and local people and and local people and environmental activists went to these areas to control the fire, and so far they have not been able to control it because of the spread of fire.

It should be noted that at the beginning of this year and with the onset of the heat season, large parts of the forests and pastures of the eastern part of Kurdistan were burned down, which, according to most local reporters and people, was deliberately fired by the military forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the east Kurdistan has taken place.
