KMMK:
On Friday, March 5, 2021, a citizen of Saqqez named “Qobad Nawkhasi” was shot and wounded directly by the Iranian government forces.
According to the information received by KMMK, Qobad Nawkhasi is a resident of “Mahidar Sofla” a village in the city of Saqqez. The Iranian military forces fired directly without any prior warning in the “Nakhwan’s border” section of the “Sershio” of Saqez city.
Iranian military forces have announced that the citizen was shot because of the possibility to transporting smuggled goods.
He was then taken to a hospital in Tabriz by the military, and his family has not been able to visit him yet.
