According to a report received by KMMK News Center, on Friday, October 4, 2024, in the ongoing climate of social unrest and crime, two young citizens named Barham Elyasi (20) and Yusef Elyasi (22), both from Sarpole Zahab, were killed by gunfire.
As of the time of reporting, there is no detailed information available regarding the motive or perpetrators of the killings.
It is worth noting that, in addition to the deaths of these two young men, who were shot multiple times with live ammunition, another citizen from Sarpol-e Zahab, Omid Rahimi (24), was stabbed to death on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
