On Sunday, August 07, 2022, based on the information received by the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, during the past few days, the environmental activist “Aram Afzali” from the village of Danikesh in the suburbs of Sanandaj city was detained by the forces of the intelligence department of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and transferred to an unknown place.
According to this report, this environmental activist was detained near the Sanandaj license plate exchange center while returning from Shiraz city.
It should be noted that a week after detention of Aram Afzali, there is no information about his fate and whereabouts.
