The 10th Congress of the Kurdistan Human Rights Association was held

On Friday, December 24, 2021, the 10th Congress of the Kurdistan Human Rights Association was held with the participation of members and guests.
Prior to the congress, the annual report on human rights violations in East Kurdistan was presented to the guests.
The meeting was attended by several civil society, political activists, journalists and citizens of Kurdistan, and after reading the annual report by Mr. Jahangir Abdullahi, the participants made the meeting even more prosperous by submitting their comments, questions and suggestions.
In the other part, Ms. Afsaneh Rouhandeh, Mr. Mohammad Hozhabri and Mr. Abdulqader Shiri discussed important issues of human rights and the affairs of the organization.
Subsequently, participants and a significant number of guests were given the opportunity to share their views and comments on the organization’s report and discussions submitted by members of the organization.
Finally, the 10th Congress of the Kurdistan Human Rights Association was held with the participation of members of the organization. In this section, the statute and internal principles of this population were approved by a total of votes without change.
Following the approval of the statute by the members, the new leadership council of the Kurdistan Human Rights Association was elected. And Ms. Afsaneh Rouhandeh and Mr. Mohammad Hozhbari were elected co-chairs of the Kurdistan Human Rights Association.
