On Monday, June 20, 2022, the death sentence of a political prisoner sentenced to death, Mr. Firooz Musa Lou, a political prisoner in East Kurdistan, was carried out in the city of Urmia.
Firooz Musa Lou is from the village of Qatur (Kutul) in the city of Khoy in eastern Kurdistan.
According to the report received, the execution of this political prisoner was carried out secretly and without informing his family and lawyer.
It should be noted that on Saturday, June 18, this political prisoner was transferred from an Iranian government prison in Urmia to an unknown location for unknown reasons.
Firooz Musa Lou was sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Iranian government on charges of “moharebeh through membership in one of the partiesin Kurdish party” and was sentenced to prison.
Firooz Musa Lou was arrested on July 11, 2019 by the terrorist organization of the Revolutionary Guards of Iran and transferred to one of the detention centers of this terrorist organization in Urmia for interrogation.
