A Citizen of Oshnavieh was Sentenced to Two Years in Prison

KMMK:
A citizen with the identity of “Omid maroof” from the village of “Aliabad” in the city of Oshnavieh (Shno) was sentenced to two years in prison by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Oshnavieh (Shno) headed by Judge “Rezaei”.


According to the report, Omid maroof was sentenced by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of the Islamic Republic of Iran to 2 years in prison on charges of “collaborating with Kurdish parties opposed to the Iranian government.”


It should be noted that this citizen was transferred to one of the Iranian security detention centers in Urmie for interrogation on December 15 2020, without any warrant, and was transferred to the Iranian prison in Oshnoyeh (Shno) after the interrogation.


Omid Maroof was finally released from Iranian prison in that city on January 20, 2021 on bail until the end of his trial.
