On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Naieb Askari, a political prisoner imprisoned in the Iranian government prison in the city of Urmia, was transferred from the prison of political and ideological to quarantine after arguing with prison officials.
Also in another report, quoting the Kurdistan Human Rights Network, Shaker Behrooz, a political prisoner sentenced to death, imprisoned in the Iranian government prison in Urmia, was summoned to the prison guard office under the pretext of a face-to-face appointment and transferred to dormitory number two.
This prisoner has gone on a hunger strike in response to this behavior and action of the prison officials.
