KMMK:
According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, it has been 5 months since Soma Salehi, a women civil activist, was transferred to a closed camp in Greece after surviving from drowning.
She left East Kurdistan for Europe about 7 months ago due to a political problem. Greece police rescued her after a boat carrying refugees sank and she was taken to a closed camp on the island of KOS in Greece.
Soma Salehi has been detained in this camp for 5 months and has said that they will be treated like prisoners.
In an interview with the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, Soma Salehi referred to the unusual conditions in the camp and that she had been held in the Gamma camp on KOS Island for several months with several men and that they had no facilities.
She went on to cite the poor condition of the camp as the cause of her depression, noting that she was in a disproportionate state of mind.
In several video files obtained by Soma Salehi from the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, she is handcuffed along with several other refugees and treated like a prisoner.
Soma Salehi is an active woman in East Kurdistan who is forced to leave her homeland due to politics and the fact that she is a member of a Kurdish party.
