Pouya Ghobadi, a political prisoner, was tried

KMMK:
On Monday, July 12, 2021, the trial of “Pouya Ghobadi”, a political prisoner imprisoned in the Tehran Prison, was held in Branch 28 of the tehran’s Revolutionary Court by Judge Moghiseh.
It should be noted that Mr. Mostafa Nili and Mr. Babak Paknia were present in this meeting as Mr. Ghobadi’s lawyers.
In the previous Court meeting, which was held on September 13, 2020, Pouya Ghobadi was charged by Judge Moghiseh with “acting against national security through membership and effective cooperation with the Mojahedin Khalq Organization” and “propaganda against the regime” and “Conspiracy to act against national security.”

It should be noted that Judge Moghiseh had accused the prisoner of belligerence and threatened with execution during the Court.

Pouya Ghobadi was born in 1992 in “Songhor” and has a bachelor’s degree in electricity.
He was arrested by Iranian government security and intelligence forces in March 2018 and was interrogated and tortured in Evin 209 cells for 3 months.
This political prisoner was transferred to Ward 4 of Evin Prison after being interrogated in solitary confinement and transferred to Greater Tehran Prison in mid-2017

It should be noted that this political prisoner had already been arrested in April 2018 and released on bail. In his first case, he was sentenced to 5 years in prison on charges of “propaganda against the system, aggregation and collusion.”
