The Fate of a Religious Citizen Remains Unknown after 12 days of Detention

According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, the fate of a religious Citizen named “Mullah Younis Nawkha” from Piranshahr, who has been detained by Iranian security forces for 12 days, remains unknown.

According to the report, he was detained on Thursday, August july 8, 2022, and has been denied the right to access a lawyer and to meet his family during his detention in Iyaat prison in Urmia.

An informed source reported that despite the investigation of his family, but the security forces refrain from revealing any information about the condition of this citizen.

Mullah Younis Nawkha, a teacher at the Salahuddin Ayubi School of Religious Sciences in Piranshahr, was detained for criticizing the government.
