Lordegan; Four protesting citizens killed by Iranian regime’s repressive forces

KMMK:

According to a KMMK source report from Lordegan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, during nationwide protests in Iran, five citizens named Farhad Rahini Dodraei, Bahman Fathi, Mehdi Mousavi, Mohammad Mousavi, and Abolfazl Khalidi were killed with the direct participation of Iranian regime’s repressive forces.

The KMMK source said in this regard: During the protests that lasted for several days in Lordegan, the Iranian regime’s repressive and armed forces opened fire on the protesters, which ultimately resulted in the deaths of these citizens and the serious injury of several other citizens.

The informed source added; Bahman Fathi, one of the deceased today, is married and the father of two young children.

Nambardeh also said: Following the tension between the protesting people and the Iranian regime’s repressive forces, two of the regime’s repressive forces were also killed in revenge for the victims.

At the beginning of the protests in late December 2025 and early January 2026, the regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran violently confronted people in cities in Kurdistan, including the provinces of Kermashan, Ilam, Lorestan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Kohgiluyeh, and Boyer Ahmad, shooting protesters with the aim of killing them. So far, according to statistics from human rights sources, more than 30 Kurdish citizens have died in these protests.
