According to a report by a KMMK correspondent in Izeh, in the early hours of Thursday, January 1, 2026, Hesam Mohammadi, a 16-year-old Lor teenager from Izeh, Khuzestan Province, was arrested during a raid by security forces on citizens’ homes, coinciding with the December 2025 protests.
Reports indicate that the arrest was carried out without the presentation of a judicial warrant. To date, no information is available regarding his whereabouts or physical condition.
The arrest of children during protests constitutes a clear violation of human rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
