On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, Mohammad Reza Karami, a 16 years old teenager and one of the injured during the popular protests in Malekshahi County, died from the severity of his injuries after four days in the intensive care unit of Khomeini Hospital.
According to reports, Mohammad Reza Karami was targeted and severely injured by the Iranian regime’s military and security forces during the bloody suppression of popular protests.
