On Thursday, January 8, 2026, Soran Feizizadeh, a citizen of Saqqez and resident of Bijar, was severely beaten by Iranian regime security forces during the popular protests in this city and was detained. After a day, due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to Kowsar Hospital in Sna (Sanandaj) and died there.
According to informed sources, Soran Feizizadeh’s body was buried secretly in an undisclosed location in Saqqez without the knowledge of his family.
