K.M.M.K
Over the past week, at least six Kurdish citizens in various cities across Iran have taken their own lives. According to local reports, the identities of the deceased are as follows:
• Ramin Elyasi – Kermanshah
• Andia Parsa – Sanandaj
• Rasoul Rajavi – Asadabad
• Zahra Azizi – Sanandaj
• Khosro Nowruzi – Kuhdasht
• Sana Mohammadi – Bojnord
These suicides, largely attributed to economic hardships, social struggles, and psychological distress, highlight a deep sense of despair and the difficult living conditions faced by many.
At the same time, reports indicate a surge in domestic violence and homicides in recent days. One of the most tragic cases occurred in Asadabad, where a man, following a family dispute, murdered his wife, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law before taking his own life. The rise in violence against women in recent months has sparked significant concern, emphasizing the urgent need for intervention.
Additionally, several other homicides were reported across Kurdistan in the past week. Some of the victims have been identified as:
• Yasin Rahmatian – Saqqez
• Saeed Hameti – Ilam
• Hadi Ghaderi – Salas Babajani
• Fatemeh Badeli – Resident of Kordkuy
The increasing number of these tragic incidents reflects the deteriorating social and economic conditions that have led to a rise in crime, violence, and widespread despair within the community.
