Execution of two prisoners accused of murder in Aligudarz and Khorramabad without official announcement by authorities

K.M.M.K:

According to a report by the KMMK News Center, on the morning of Sunday, December 7, two prisoners named Golmirza Nejati in the Iranian prison in Aligudarz and Yavar Farhadi in the prison in Khorramabad, both of whom had previously been sentenced to death by criminal courts on charges of murder, were hanged without an official announcement by judicial authorities or prison officials.

According to information received from informed sources, Golmirza Nejati was sentenced to death after being detention and tried in connection with a murder case, and her sentence was carried out at dawn today in the Iranian prison in Aligudarz. Her family and relatives have not received clear information about the detailed process of the case and the exact time of the sentence until the execution of the sentence.

In a similar move, Yavar Farhadi, another prisoner who had also been sentenced to death for murder, was executed at the same time in Iran’s Khorramabad prison. Independent sources have confirmed his identity, but the authorities have not yet released any official statement about the execution.

The lack of official announcements by the authorities has raised concerns about judicial transparency, the right of families to access information, and fair trial standards. Human rights experts have stressed that keeping the execution process secret is not in line with international human rights principles and that the need for reform remains.
