Bukan; Two citizens were detained by Iranian security forces

K.M.M.K:
According to the KMMK News Center, on the morning of Monday, December 8, 2025, two citizens from the village of Kanirash in Bukan province, named Kaveh Kole and Qader Kole, were detention in a raid by security forces without any judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location; a situation for which no official explanation has been provided so far about the reason for their arrest or their condition.

Local sources have confirmed that forces affiliated with the Intelligence Department entered the homes of these two citizens this morning, detention them, and transferred them without announcing their destination. The families of these individuals have said that the officers did not provide any judicial documents or explanation about the reason for this action at the time of their arrest.

Despite the passage of several hours since detained, no security or judicial institution has claimed responsibility for this action, and no information has been released about possible charges, the manner of detained, or the location of Kaveh and Qader Kole.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Association states: Detention without warrants, lack of transparency, and families’ ignorance of the fate of the detained person are examples of violations of fundamental rights and contrary to international standards. This case is another example of the growing concerns reported regarding extrajudicial detentions in Kurdistan.
