On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, Soltan Morad Nasiri, a prisoner sentenced to death, was hanged in the Islamic Republic of Iran prison in Esfarayn.
According to confirmed information, he had previously been detention on drug-related charges and then sentenced to death by the Iranian Revolutionary Court.
Informed sources say the sentence was carried out early Tuesday morning and the prisoner’s family was informed of the execution through an informal call after the body was transferred.
