On Friday, July 11, 2025, Mansour Rahimi, a 34-year-old resident of Mahabad and son of Abbas, was abducted by security forces of the Iranian regime after they raided his family home in the city.
It is worth noting that Rahimi had previously been summoned and threatened by the Intelligence Department on May 8, 2025, due to his support for a protest held by farmers affected by hail damage.
His detention was carried out without a judicial warrant.
Security forces reportedly confiscated all electronic devices belonging to the family. As of the time of this report, no information is available about the charges against Mansour Rahimi or his current whereabouts.
