On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, the Iranian regime’s security forces raided the personal home of Musa Omidi, a political activist, writer, and social researcher from Ilam. In addition to searching the home and seizing a number of this citizen’s personal belongings, they also detained him.
Musa Omidi, a former university professor and head of the United Kurdish Group in Ilam, had previously been detained during the “Zhina” revolution.
As of the time of writing this news, accurate information about the place of detention, reasons for the detention, and possible charges brought against Musa Omidi is not available.
