The ambiguity of the fate of the Sunni prisoner, “Seyed Jamal Mousavi”

According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Association Report, a Sunni prisoner of Kurdish religion sentenced to death in the “Seyyed Jamal Musavi” detained in Raja’i prison in Karaj, from Wednesday 16 August 2017, is not available for any information regarding the fate of this city.

According to the report, he was removed without a request and demand Wednesday 16 August 2017, on the pretext of sending him to his hospital and was taken to an unidentified place. The family of the Kurd prisoner are concerned about the vague fate of their child, and the prison authorities have no answer. They do not convincing them and they do not even announce the hospital name they are deployed there.

It is worth mentioning that this prison is a Kurd from the city of Sanandaj in East Kurdistan, and was arrested in 2008 and sentenced to death on charges of moharebeh and communicating with Salafi groups in the 2009, after which the Supreme Court upheld the protest. He has denied all these allegations. Seyed Jamal Mousavi was exiled from Sanandaj Prison to Rajei Prison in Karaj, Iran on Weddnesday 13 July 2016.
