Prison sentence for Kurdish politician by German court

Following a report from the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, the Hamburg High Court sentencing in Germany a two years and nine months jail for Kurdish politician from north of Kurdistan Zaki Eroglu issued.

It should be noted that Zaki Eroglu was arrested in 2016 at the request of the German government in Stockholm, Sweden, and handed over to the German government.

The court has begun since the first month of this year, and the petitioner was sentenced to three years and three months in the first court hearing, but then the court passed a two years and a nine months sentence sentence. Meanwhile, in the past few years, 11 Kurdish politicians have been sentenced to jail by the German court.
