On Tuesday, July 8, 2021, a woman with the identity of “Karimeh Alizadeh” daughter Aref and resident of “Qasrik” village of Urmie city committed suicide and ended her life.
As of this writing, the cause of this citizen’s suicide is unknown.
Forced marriage, gender discrimination, lack of legal protection for women, poverty and unemployment are the main causes of suicide in Kurdistan.
