Protest aggregation of expelled workers from Saba Zagros Steel Plant

According to a report from the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, on Saturday, 24 June 2017, 120 fired workers from the Saba Polad Zagros factory  were gathered in front of the Chaharmahal Bakhtiari Labor, Mine and Commerce Department, and they expressed dissatisfaction with dismissing their work.

In the report, the workers expelled from the factory protested to dismissal from their jobs. they demanded that they return to their jobs and continue to receive their salary rights.

It should be noted that the plant owner has stated that the reason for the expulsion of workers is to add their number and because of the cost reduction of the factory at the factory,and apparently the owner of the factory made several unemployed unemployment insurance payments to the Department of Cooperatives and Labor and Social Welfare a few days before the expulsion of workers.

It is noteworthy that the work experience of these workers at the Saba Polad Zagros factory located in the “Sephid Dasht Borujen” town was 10 years old, and according to them, they have been responsible for the management of at least three families, and they were dismissed from work They can not afford to pay for their family.
