On Thursday, October 19, 2023, a young man with the identity of “Pishwa Aliar” from the village of “Darbaran” in Baneh died due to the explosion of a landmine left over from the Iran-Iraq war.
According to the reports, due to the pressure of the security institutions of the Islamic Republic, the aforementioned had taken refuge with his family in the Kurdistan region and lived in Sulaymaniyah.
It should be noted that mines left over from the Iran-Iraq war in the border areas cause the death, injury and amputation of many citizens every year.
