On Thursday, May 6, 2021, “Suibah Seyed Abdullahzadeh”, daughter of Khaled and resident of “Chomi Majid Khan” area of Bokan, committed suicide.
According to the reports received by KMMK, she had set himself on fire a few days ago due to family problems and died of severe burns in one of the hospitals in Tabriz today.
Forced marriage, gender discrimination, lack of legal protection for women, poverty and unemployment are major causes of suicide in east Kurdistan.
