The Kurdistan Human Rights Association (KMMK) e.V. condemns the illegal detention of civil activists and students in Eastern Kurdistan by the Iranian government, calls this a violation of human rights and demands the immediate release of the detainees.
These operations completely unlawful and without any evidence. Neither permission of court has been accomplished. All these detainees faced violence and transferred to unknown facilities, which raised their families’ concerns.
In just one week, the Iranian government arrested 32 civil activists, students and citizens and put them in jail. The names of the detainees are as follows:
|Teheran||Sohib Badroj||Farzad Samani||Darya Talebani||Sirvan Nori||Afshin Mam Ahmad||Salar Rahvi||Shapol Khezri|
|Mahabad||Iman Abdi||Hasan Abdi||Soran Hossain Zadeh|

The identity of the three prisoners is still unknown.
This action by the Iranian government is in line with the continuation of the apartheid policy and the racial discrimination of the Kurdish nation.
Through imprisonment, torture and intimidation, the Iranian government tries to prevent Kurdish society from pursuing its rights and pursuing repressive policies.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Association (KMMK) e.V. calls on the Kurdish community, the political parties as well as the human rights organizations and civil society to take joint measures to demand the immediate release of the detainees.
At the same time she calls on the United Nations, international human rights organizations, to pay more attention to human rights issues and to urge the Iranian government to release these detained citizens immediately.
