According to reports, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, Esmail Karimi, an employee of the Kamiyaran Natural Resources Department, succumbed to severe burn injuries sustained while fighting wildfires in the “Lain” and “Kani Gasheh” areas of Kamiyaran.
It is worth noting that this environmental activist was severely injured the previous day due to the extensive wildfire and was airlifted by emergency services to Kowsar Hospital in Sanandaj.
