Sulaymaniyah; Attempt on the life of artist Delzar Abedi

According to the reports received by KMMK news center, on Thursday, March 21, 2024, 27 years old artist Delzar Abedi and the son of famous Kurdish artist Ali Abedi from the city of Saqqez and a resident of Sulaymaniyah in the south of Kurdistan were attacked by the terror team of the Islamic Republic.

According to reports, when the artist was leaving for work, he suspected a black car that wanted to stop him, and after getting out and running away, he found out about the assassination attempt by the passenger of the car and survived by hiding in the alleys of the accident site.

It should be mentioned that Delzar Abedi was one of the leaders and fighters of the cities of Saqqez, Sanandaj and Bukan during the zhina revolution, and after being identified by the security forces of the Iranian regime and the seal and the evacuation of the studio, he had to take refuge in Bashur Kurdistan. In the past year, he has received two death threats.

Delzar Abedi is a composer and player of piano, violin and viola and also a graduate of the Faculty of Art and Music of Tehran University and has more than 200 works of art with artists such as Ebrahim Khayat, Fermisk, Hamid banehie, Hossein Safamanesh, Najmud’din Gholami, Shahin Talabani, Ali Abedi, Kamran Mustafa Baban, and dozens of other singers. This citizen has also recreated 35 works of artists Hassan Zirak and Mohammad Mamli.
He is also the author of the Symphony of the Oak Tree for the poetry of Shirku Bix, the composition of the Symphony Orchestra of the Music House of Sulaymaniyah for the first concert of this orchestra under the direction of Mustafa Abbas Ali. He also composed the music for the book of being Kurdish (Captain Mohammad Moulud’s memoirs).
