Transfer of Shaban Mohammadi from the security cell to the general cell of Evin prison

On Friday, July 15, 2022, Shaban Mohammadi, a member of the board of directors of the Kurdistan-Marivan Teachers’ Union, announced his transfer from the 209 security ward of Evin prison to the general ward of that prison during a phone call with his family.

It should be noted that Shaban Mohammadi was transferred from the detention center of the Intelligence Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sanandaj to the security ward of Evin Prison on June 4 this year.

This teacher union activist was arrested by the security forces in Marivan on May 11.

He was previously arrested by the security forces on January 30, 2022, and was temporarily released on a bail of 500 million tomans until the end of the proceedings.
