On Monday, July 28, 2021, Aram Fathi and Soraya Haghdoost were released from the Iranian government prison on bail of 100 million Tomans.
Aram Fathi was arrested on June 17, 2021, by a group of seven Iranian government’s security forces and transferred to prison.
The day after the civil activist’s arrest, his family was informed that he had been quietly transferred to the quarantine ward of the public prison. During his detention, the civil activist was denied access to essential medicines.
It’s noteworthy that Soraya Haghdoost was arrested a few days after Mr fathi by the Iranian government’s security forces in the Marivan and was transferred to the IRGC Office for interrogation.
The two civil activists were arrested following a complaint from a military family.
