Banah; Two kolbar were murdered by I.R’s border regiment

On Sunday, June 20, 2021, two kolbars with identities of “Sa’adon Ahmadi” 37 and “Yaser” from Banah lost their lives in the border heights of “Hanga-Jal” and “Kelah” of Baneh city due to direct fire by forces of Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to reports received by the KMMK, the Iranian Armed Forces fired at a group of kolbars and businessmen at the Hange-jal and Kelah border areas as result one kolbar died and also another kolbar named Yaser lost his life due to severe injuries in the hospital.
Killing kolbars is an objective example of the crime against humanity that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey commit on a daily basis.
Kolbar (Kurdish: کۆڵبەر) is a worker who is employed to carry goods on his/her back across the borders. Most Kolbars live in eastern Kurdistan and they come from the poorest regions in the area.
Kolbars are mostly considered illegal and have no insurance, retirement plans and unions.
