Three other kolbar were killed and injured by I.R border forces

On Sunday, May 9, 2021, 27 year old kolbar named “Ayub” from Saqqez and “Ako Ghaderi” from Piranshahr were severely wounded by direct fire from the border regiment Forces of the I.R.Iran.
Also, another kolbar with the identity of “Farzad Jabbari”, 30 years old, son of Abdullah, married and a resident of “Mansourabad” village of Urmie unfortunately lost his life in a river.

Mr. Ayub has been transferred to Salaheddin Ayubi Hospital in Baneh for medical treatment.
Until the preparing this report, all information is unavailable from the condition of Ako Ghaderi, who was injured.
The killing of Colburn is an objective example of the crime against humanity that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey commit on daily basis.
P.S: Kolbar (Kurdish: کۆڵبەر) is a worker who is employed to carry goods on his/her back across the borders. Most Kolbars live in eastern Kurdistan and they come from the poorest regions in the area. Kolbars are mostly considered illegal and have no insurance, retirement plans and unions.
