On Saturday, May 17, 2025, Aziz Kabdani, a 54 years old prisoner from Zahedan, died at Khatam al-Anbia Hospital in Iranshahr city due to kidney failure and delay in transfer to medical centers.
According to reports, this Baluch citizen had suffered from a severe infection and kidney failure about a week ago. Despite his deteriorating physical condition, prison officials refused to transfer him to specialized medical centers in a timely manner.
It should be noted that Aziz Kabdani was arrested three years ago and sentenced to death by the Iranian regime’s judicial authorities on charges of “drug-related crimes.”
