According to K.M.M.K., on Friday, May 2, 2025 , Sahel Nasiri, a 19-year-old Gilak citizen from the town of Zibakenar in Gilan Province, was murdered by police officers who shot him directly near his home on the shores of the Caspian Sea.
According to informed sources, Nasiri had been resting with a friend when they were stopped and searched by the police. After finding nothing suspicious, the officers attempted to seize his motorcycle. When Nasiri resisted, the police shot him twice in the head, resulting in his death.
