A prisoner was transferred to the solitary confinement cell in Urmia prison for execution

According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Association Report on Monday 7 August 2017, Ebrahim Erisi of Mirabad Bukan, was transmitted in Urmia on charges of murder in the Central Prison of the Islamic Republic of Iran, from section 4 to solitary confinement for execution.

In the report, in the past 10 days, five prisoners were executed in the central prison of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Urmia on charges of drug and intentional murder.

It should be noted that until now, the news of the execution of these prisoners by the media of the Islamic Republic of Iran has not been formally announced.

It is worth noting that last week Amnesty International, referring to the plan to reduce the death penalty for drug traffickers in the Iranian parliament, urged deputies to abolish the death penalty for drug-related crimes in general.
