Suicide in Kamyaran city due to unspecified

In a report to the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, on Sunday 23 July 2017, a man in Zivyeh dam drowned in city of Kamyaran.

Behrouz Nadimi, 28, is a married from the city of Kamyaran in the east of Kurdistan, who, according to one of the informed sources, contacted her family before drowning and announced that she intended to drown in her dam and so far, there is no information about the cause and cause of drowning or suicide.

It is necessary to say that since mid 2017, in eastern Kurdistan, 17 women and 20 men have committed suicide, of which there are 5 girls under the age of 18. Experts consider the social and economic problems, the lack of rights and freedoms, and legal barriers as the main causes of these suicides.
