Identities of Five Kurdish Citizens Killed in 8 January 2026 Protests Confirmed

The identities of five Kurdish citizens who lost their lives during popular protests on Thursday, 8 January 2026, in various cities across Iran have been confirmed. All were killed as a result of direct gunfire by Iranian regime security forces.

According to verified information, the victims are Amir Mohammad Arbabpouri, a 16-year-old teenager from Kermanshah; Rasoul Badparan, originally from Kermanshah and a resident of Alvand in Qazvin Province; Hassan Fallah, from Shabad (Islamabad-e Gharb) and residing in Karaj; Saeed Kalvandi, a 31-year-old Kurdish citizen from Hamedan and a resident of Saveh; and Ali-Asghar Khodadadi, an 18-year-old university student from Esfarayen. All were shot and killed by security forces during the protests.
