According to reports received, Hamid Moradi, Chiako Yousefnejad, and Khabat Amini, dedicated environmental activists of Sna (Sanandaj), suffered severe burns during a fire control operation on the heights of Mount Avyar and were admitted to the intensive care unit of Kausar Hospital in Sna, where they unfortunately lost their lives.
According to the report, these environmental activists, who were always on the front lines of efforts to protect the region’s nature, were severely injured while voluntarily participating in fire control, and despite the efforts of doctors, the severity of their injuries led to their death.
These heartbreaking events occur every year in the forests of Kurdistan, while those responsible for crisis affairs always withdraw from such events without making any effort to extinguish the fires and even refuse to provide safety equipment to public activists.
