According to reports, on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at least 9 prisoners were executed in the central prisons of Karaj, Dizelabad, Kermashan, and Khorramabad.
According to the report, seven prisoners who had been convicted of drug-related charges were executed in the central prison of Karaj. The identities of six of them have been announced as follows: Sajad Pourdanesh, from Tehran _ Reza Bakhtavar, from Karaj _ Meysam Jodaki, from Karaj _ Ali Hosseinpour, from Kohdasht _ Mohammad Galusi, from Kermashan _ Fariborz Haqi, from Noorabad The name of the seventh prisoner has not been announced.
It should be noted that on the same day, Muslem Jalali was executed in Dizelabad prison of Kermashan on charges of armed robbery. Also, Saber Azizpour, a 25 years old young man from Harsin, who was detention on charges of murder and sentenced to death, was executed in Khorramabad prison.
As of the time of publication of this report, official media outlets within Iran and judicial institutions have not provided any official information regarding these executions.
