On Sunday, August 3, 2025, the death sentence of Iqbal Abdoli, a citizen of Ilam, who had previously been issued by the judicial authorities on charges of “premeditated murder”, was carried out in the Iranian regime’s central prison in the city of Ilam.
Iqbal Abdoli was detention a few years ago on charges of committing murder and was sentenced to self-retribution by the First Branch of the Iranian regime’s Criminal Court in Ilam. This sentence was later confirmed by the Supreme Court.
