Krmashan; Detention of at least 115 Citizens and one European man

K.M.M.K:

According to reports, in the continuation of recent developments in Iran, judicial authorities have announced the detention of 115 people in Krmashan province. According to Hamidreza Karimi, the General Prosecutor and Revolutionary Prosecutor of the regime in Krmashan, these people have been prosecuted on charges such as “propaganda against the regime” and “action against national security”. A European citizen has also been detained on suspicion of espionage and a legal case has been opened against him.

According to Karimi, 54 of the detainees have been released on bail and the legal case for the others is under review by order of the high judicial authorities.

These developments are taking place in a situation where the internal security environment has become significantly tense following the recent Israeli attacks on Iranian military and intelligence centers, and the security forces’ focus on domestic clashes has increased, while questions about the weakness of the country’s defense structures against foreign attacks remain unanswered.
