On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the death sentences of Idris Aali and Azad Shojaei, residents of the Sardasht city, and Rasoul Ahmad Mohammad, a citizen of Sulaymaniyah (South Kurdistan), on charges of “collaborating with the Israeli foreign intelligence service – Mossad” were carried out in the regime’s central prison in Urmia.
These citizens were detained by security forces in 2023 and, in a process lacking a fair trial, were charged with “smuggling equipment related to the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh – a key figure in the Iranian regime’s nuclear program” and “smuggling alcoholic beverages.”
