Execution of Four Prisoners in Ilam Central Prison

According to reports received by the Kurdistan Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, the death sentences of four individuals were carried out in the Central Prison of Ilam. The executed prisoners were identified as Hassan Hasanbeigi from Sarab Karzan, Farideh Jafarzadeh from Ilam, Alieh Kaveri-Zadeh from Dehloran, and Abdolvahab Babakhanian from Badreh.

These four individuals had previously been arrested in separate cases on charges of premeditated murder and were subsequently sentenced to death by Iran’s judicial system.

It is noteworthy that the executions took place in complete silence from Iranian domestic and state media outlets.
